ABOUT US

Frack Free Frodsham and Helsby

We are a community of two small towns campaigning to prevent  unconventional gas extraction industries from coming to our area

Frodsham and Helsby are two towns in Cheshire in the UK. They sit along the famous sandstone trail at the base of the sand stone cliffs of Frodsham, Helsby and Woodhouse Hills. These are ancient sea cliffs.

The area has recently been under investigation as a possible region for fracking. An extensive 3D seismic survey was carried out in the area (Sept-Oct 15 for Helsby, Frodsham) in order to establish the potential reserves in the area.

If anyone has concerns over this testing or would like to report an incident please email Rod Brookfield at Cheshire West & Chester Council: rod.brookfield@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
